FAQ's Q. How does SFPSS charge? A. We charge by the visit. Q. What do you charge? A. Our base rate is $16.00 for any one pet. Additional $2.50 for each dog, and $2.00 for each additional cat. (So for two dogs, it would be $18.50 per visit. For two cats it would be $18.00 per visit. For a cat and a dog it would be $18.00 per visit. Q. Do you charge a holiday fee? A. We do charge a small additional fee over the major national holidays. We will let you know this at the time you book service. This is a way for us to reward the sitters who are giving of their holiday time to work with your pet. Q. How many visits do you do a day? A We recommend two to three visits a day for dogs, and one to two visits a day for cats. Q. Will you come every three or four days for a cat? A. No, we only do dailys for cats. Unfortunately, cats mask a lot of their illnesses, and because of that fact a cat could be in a lot of trouble within a two day period . Urinary tract infections can kill a cat within 48 hours. Q. Is there an extra charge for bringing in our mail and newspapers? A. No, we will also take out your trash on your trash day and bring the cans back up the next day. Q. Will we know who is in our house? A. Yes, you will always meet your pet sitter prior to your leaving on your trip. Q. Do you also housesit on a daily basis? A. Yes, we also do daily checks on houses uninhabited by pets. We bring in the mail, packages, newspapers and walk through your home to make sure all is secure. Q. How much do you charge for housesitting? A. Within a ten mile radius of Beavercreek there is a $16 charge per visit, outside of ten miles the charge is $18 per visit.
